Works good for people and small or maybe medium dogs. No way will a big dog fit on here. The scale seems to be accurate and easy to set up. Like that the digital reading screen has a cord so you can move it as needed.

Take note this is advertised as an animal scale but can be used for multiple applications such as postal service, etc. as it's a fairly reliable readout and very easy to weigh larger sized parcels which is what I more than likely intend to use it for.

Comes with a digital readout and generous weighout real estate where surface area is concerned. Very similar to the types some postal offices use. Of course this can be used to weigh your pet whether small/medium and likely larger in size.

Works as intended and comes in a decent build quality and design. Take note that the main product photo with the dog on top of the scale is a little misleading, clearly the photos have been doctored to project a larger than intended weighing platform although it is fairly reasonably large. They really shouldn't have done that, take note of actual dimensions with this unit as it's still pretty decent.

Started giving random weights after a month. Lasted just past the return window.

Great scale if you're doing small items. Anything bigger than a box? You're not getting an accurate weight.

I ordered this to accurately measure the weight of my pets. The scale arrived in perfect condition. The process of removing the plastic film was terrible. The plastic is paper thin, sticks to the surface of the scale, and stretches / rips when pulled. It took me around 15 minutes to get the top layer off with help. The film on the bottom layer on the other hand is impossible to remove perfectly. The plastic film extends into the 4 edges between where the top and bottom metal layers meet, impossible to remove. It also slips into the gaps around the 4 unremovable legs of the scale. If you purchase this scale, DO NOT remove the bottom plastic layer. Other than removing the plastic, all that’s needed is to screw on the legs before the device is fully assembled.

The accuracy is very precise, as promised. To check the accuracy, I placed a 20lb weight on for testing, and it was off by only 0.1 after recalibrating. The scale is also versatile in that I can weigh larger objects such as packages, luggage, etc. The stainless steel platform is high quality and sturdy with a large surface area, plenty enough for my pets to lay down on. Just to be clear, the top is stainless steel while the bottom is not. The LED display feels a little cheap – I’m a little afraid to drop it. The digital display on the scale is very clear and easy to read. The operation of the scale is relatively straightforward and easy. The handle is convenient and makes the scale very easy to carry. The scale also has a good weight to it, but it's still alright to carry around. Overall, it’s a good scale with accurate readings, just really poor packaging. I still recommend this product.
